Hi! Happy Tuesday! Okay, I know I haven’t posted in a while. I have been really bad at putting content up. I just haven’t very motivated lately and trying to get that back. It’s snowing outside and we are suppose to get like 4-8 inches. This is how the first day of spring is going. I need winter to go away! There’s nothing better than warm chocolate chip cookies on a cold snowy day! I am going to start a series called Cooking with Felicia! It will be ranging from meals to dessert to snacks! I still not sure I should make this a weekly or monthly. If you can’t tell, I will be making chocolate chip cookies! I brought a box of chocolate chip mix because I still don’t know a good cookie batter recipe and this way is easier.
You are going to need the pre made mix, 1 egg, and 1 stick of soften butter. I added extra chocolate chips because sometimes these pre made mix don’t put enough chocolate chips!
You are going to want to mix everything together till you don’t see the egg and the butter. On the box they seemed to use a hand held mixer. I didn’t follow that and used spatula to mix it. It’s a good hand strengthening exercise! (haha)
This is how it should look after everything has been mixed well. I’m sure you guys know how to make cookies but I didn’t want this post to be just full of pictures!
Okay, so the box said it makes three dozen cookies and I only made 23! It wasn’t even 2 dozen. (don’t trust the box) I bet you have to make the cookies smaller than what I have. I used a teaspoon to make these cookies the same size.
You bake it for 10 minutes a or till they look ready at 375 degrees. I had to leave it in for an extra 2 minutes because they weren’t ready at 10 minutes.
It’s pretty much an easy make since the instructions are on the box but I thought I shared with you what I did today! I promised the next Cooking with Felicia will be more fun and not using a pre made mix! Hope you all enjoyed this post!
See you in the next one,
